Peg Parnevik - Sommartorsdagarna, Borås

Ida Peg Josefin Parnevik, born September 3, 1995 in Stockholm, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and TV personality. She is the daughter of the golfer Jesper Parnevik and his wife Mia, as well as the granddaughter of the impersonator Bosse Parnevik. Peg Parnevik was largely raised in Florida in the USA as one of four siblings. She first became known through her participation in the reality series Parneviks on TV3, in which Swedish celebrities come and live with the Parnevik family in Florida. The series won the Kristallen TV award in 2015 for "Best reality series".

MUSIC CAREER // Peg Parnevik was signed to Sony Music in late 2015 and debuted in March of 2016 with the single "Ain't No Saint" and was shortly after rewarded with the prestigious Swedish P3 Radio Prize in the category “Newcomer of the Year”. Today Peg’s music reached over 120 million streams and with singles such as "Goodbye Boy", "Loafers" and "Break Up a Bit" she made an impression on the Swedish Pop Scene with her raspy vocals and fierce lyrics.

Since 2019, Peg has also, in parallel with her solo career, released music as part of the successful pop duo GAMMAL whose songs today have over 80 million streams on Spotify. Off the stage, Peg has become a huge role model for young people everywhere using her social media platforms to talk about eating disorders, body positivity, feminism, injustice etc.
